Why register?
Ready for Ten is open for anyone to look at, but if you want to take part in discussions, you need to register with the site.
When you register we ask for your screen name (how you will be known on the site), your email address, and a password. You also must confirm that you understand our Community Guidelines -- this is a legal requirement.
Registration serves two purposes.
First, it’s required in a practical sense: without screen names, conversations on the site would be nameless free-for-alls, and nigh-on impossible to participate in.
Secondly, registration provides a barrier to spammers, which (hopefully) means conversations will stay on-topic and helpful... and not stuffed to the gunnels with spam.
