Wickham Gardens is a fantastic spot, both historically, socially and communally. It was the first public recreation ground in Uphill Lincoln when it opened almost 100 years ago. The council has recently tried to close it and taken away all of the play equipment. A local group have campaigned to have it maintained as a much needed open space in an area of mainly terraced housing where the children have little chance to kick a ball. Please help us to help our community!
