Free dinosaur exhibition

If you go down Brighton way this summer, you might find that it's all gone a bit Jurassic Park. Churchill Square in the city centre has tamed up with the Natural History Museum  to play host to an interactive dinosaur exhibition. The free show, which includes moving models and a T-Rex skull,  is in various locations around the shopping centre and runs from now until 4th September. Churchill Square is in the centre of Brighton, around 10 minutes' walk from the train station. 

 

Benny Bear club - free for children with hydrocephalus

Do you know a child with spina bifida or hydrocephalus? If so please help spread the word and let them know that the Benny Bear club is now open and free for them to join. Benny is a special bear, he has a shunt to help treat his hydrocephalus and loves to play games, go to school and make friends. He would love it if you could join his club.

Bag a bargain hotel in Leeds

School summer holidays are normally high season for hotels, with high prices to match. So here's a bargain city break for your family. As part of the Visit Leeds summer campaign, thousands of hotel rooms have just been released so you can stay in the city in August from only £20.11

 

Up to 25% discount on a mini-holiday in Cornwall

The family-friendly Sands Resort Hotel in north Cornwall has introduced savings of up to 25% for families who opt for a three to five night stay rather than taking a full week's holiday.  Discounts of up to 10% are also available for families who take a longer one-week school holiday break.
 
Families booking a full week can save 10% during the week of 23 July when prices have been reduced to £1506 per week for a family of four in a two-bedroom suite, including breakfast.
 
Free leisure facilities at the resort include indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, crazy golf, pitch and putt and adventure play areas for all ages, ranging from a maze and soft play centre for toddlers, to a climbing wall and zip wire for older children.  There are four age-banded daily children's clubs and the hotel also offers free bodyboard and wetsuit  hire.
